Introducing Foffa x Bicycle Basecamp "Speedster"
Exclusively designed by Bicycle Basecamp, the “Speedster” bike is quintessentially the prototype for the modern day urban commuter. For comfort, perch yourself upon the Brooks B-17 leather saddle, the ideal companion for those bumpy city streets. For style, place your eyes on Foffa’s signature Prima black frameset, wet painted for a durable and glossy finish. For speed, the “Speedster” is fitted with Weinmann alloy custom made machined chrome rims laced to Quando hubs, and completed with Schwalbe Lagano 700c racing tyres.
The “Speedster” is more than just another fixed gear road bike, the bicycle aims to raise awareness for our charity partner Re-cycle, a UK charity committed to providing cheap and sustainable transport in Africa. Bicycles offer the people of Africa the best means to improve their lives, whilst acting as an invaluable resource for traveling health workers helping with the AIDS epidemic.
Working with London bicycle store The Bicycle Man, with every bicycle sold money shall be donated to Re-Cycle. So not only will you be riding an exclusive bike, every sale will be supporting the Re-Cycle cause.

Hi, Merlin here, the guy who set up Re~Cycle, the bicycle charity.
Millions of bicycles are thrown away or left to rust in the UK while millions of people in Africa are forced by lack of transport to walk up to 4-hours per day, to school, work or fetching water.
Re~Cycle ships donated bikes (40,000 thus far), tools and spare parts to Africa, where partner organisations refurbish and distribute them.
