What happens when you stick San-Francisco based product and graphic design firm Shape Field Office in a room with a designer framebuilder Nicholas Riddle? A Columbus steel porter bike of course. It's a collaboration made in bicycle heaven!

Riddle built this lightweight porteur-style bike with a Columbus SL frame and based the geometry on the 1978 Cinelli Supercorsa. A porteur-inspired double top tube frame with a frame-mounted removable front rack designed to hold up to 80 pounds. The bicycle features a Lazer-etched Eastern Walnut signage panel, inverse triathlon brake levers, cork grips, handlebar routed brake cables and a custom head badge.
Design wise its what you'd expect from such a collaboration, an aesthetically pleasing design with attention paid to detail. The triathlon style brake levers with the swept back handlebars work well. The cork bar plugs on the tubing of the removable front rack are a nice touch too. Overall this bike definitely get these the Bicycle Basecamp stamp of approval.
